A Busy Spring Season

Domokur Architects has been bustling with activity the last several months.

We’ve experienced an influx of projects for several of our long-standing clients, including FirstMerit Bank and the J.M. Smucker Company. Our recently-opened North Carolina office is thriving, enabling work to seamlessly progress at nearby Camp Ridgecrest and Crestridge, YMCA Camp Greenville, and Girl Scouts' Camp Oak Springs. We’re continuing to work on campuses of higher education at Youngstown State University, Bowling Green State University, and others. And right here in the Cleveland area, we are partnering with developers and builders to complete a number of adaptive reuse projects.

Read on below for more about our latest projects.

Kent State University Olson Center Rehabilitation

Olson Center is located along the University Esplanade, a prominent pedestrian artery on the campus of Kent State University. The 28,000 SF project will house the Undergraduate Studies Department and will feature a newly-designed entrance that faces the Esplanade.

Allied Machine Expansion

We have recently completed the programming phase for an almost 50,000 SF addition at Allied Machine and Engineering Corp. The $6 million expansion will append to an existing 300,000 SF machine shop and will house office spaces, a lunch area, and an R&D training facility.

Rockbrook Camp for Girls Equestrian Complex

We are in the midst of completing a master plan for the equestrian center complex at Rockbrook Camp for Girls. Located about 3 miles outside of Brevard NC along the French Broad River, the camp seeks to improve and expand its existing equestrian facilities.
