Domokur at CANstruction

Domokur Architects had a great time this year with the CANstruction theme "heroes and villains." The message behind our design was that hunger is despicable (hence the "Despicable Me" cast)! This year we were recognized as the "Structural Ingenuity Winner."

The event was a success with over 35,704 cans collected from participants in the Cleveland/Akron area. Thanks to all who participated and supported us.

Project Description:

People can change and unite for a better world, just like Gru (kidney beans) and his army of minions (kidney beans, diced tomatoes, sweet corn, solid white tuna, and chunk light tuna) joined forces to rescue three orphaned girls from the supervillain Vector. You don’t have to be a superhero to create positive change in the world. Gru was a villain who went from “Superbad” to “Superdad,” choosing to stand up for what is right. We can all do our part in the fight against hunger.

The message behind our design is that hunger is despicable. Let’s work to end hunger together!
