This 5,700 SF concept design project focused on creating a new vision to renovate under-utilized space to efficiently centralize faculty and staff of the Theology and Religious Studies Department in one location.
The design provided a new welcoming entry, contemporary finishes, areas to inspire interaction and communication and a focus on integrating day lighting. Functional design attributes include updating the space to meet ADA accessibility requirements (including a new elevator), adding restroom facilities, and IT provisions. The program included private, shared, and open office configurations, a seminar room, lobby/common spaces and support areas. 3D renderings and cost estimating were done to aid in the fundraising process.
