The project included the renovation of approximately 1,280 SF of lab and vivarium space for the Psychology Department at KSU. Involved in the design was general lab space, behavioral study rooms, a microscopy room and a tissue culture area. The design included new casework, fume hood, finishes and all associated mechanical, plumbing and electrical work.
Domokur Architects coordinated Owner provided laboratory equipment such as an autoclave, biological safety cabinet, water polishing unit, incubators and microscopes. The project area is located in a sensitive and restricted access animal research area of the building and Domokur Architects developed all of the logistical planning necessary to execute the work.
