This project consisted of the complete interior renovation of an existing vacant 40,000 SF 2-story building so that the corporate operations departments for Westfield Bank could be consolidated into a single location. Domokur Architects provided services throughout the entire project including an initial building assessment prior to purchase, programming through closeout, as well as construction management of multiple prime contractors. Our team worked closely with the Bank’s administrative team and key department directors to establish current and future needs and develop a strategic design layout to work within the constraints of the existing structure.
The main lobby incorporates a wood plank ceiling feature, tile accent wall, semi-private soft seating area and display area of the Bank’s history to provide a warm welcoming environment. Private offices were configured in a way to allow natural light to filter through to the open office areas with the use of partial glass walls. Conference Rooms of varying size with a range of technology are located throughout as are casual encounter spaces and stand-up work areas, allowing the employees options for collaboration and independent working. Two separate Training Rooms are configured to address specific needs, but allowing for flexible furniture arrangements when necessary. The Lunch Room features a separate coffee bar as well as a combination of hard and soft seating to encourage use throughout the day. A Fitness Center provides opportunities for cardio and resistance training along with structured classes.
