Quail Hollow Park, formerly a State Park but now managed by Stark Parks, features over 700 acres of rolling meadows, marshes, pine and deciduous woods surrounding a 40-room house. The property includes historic buildings and gardens, two residences, a recreational area and small pond, numerous hiking trails, mountain biking and equestrian trails, a small cemetery, and a wide variety of ecological zones.
Domokur Architects was selected to develop a Park Master Plan that:
Domokur’s scope of services includes a needs assessment, research of all existing background data, an existing facilities inventory and evaluation, creating and leading focus groups, community surveys, and public forums, alternative design concepts, Implementation Plan, and a Long-Term Operating, Management, and Budget, and Final Report. The Master Plan must be cost effective, maintainable, and consider the unique needs of the structures listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
