The goal of this project was to enhance a very dated and deteriorating road maintenance and parks service facility and make its appearance more compatible with the rural character of the Township. The first phase of the work included the relocation of the utility services and preparing the office structure and an adjacent parking lot for demolition. all new services were placed underground and the remaining garage structures were given new siding and roof systems. The final task was the reconfiguration of an existing gambrel salt storage barn to give it a gabled appearance in keeping with the other buildings on the site and those on surrounding properties. Site grading and reseeding following demolition of the office structure completed the effort to create a complex in keeping with the Township’s own design guidelines that is both pleasing and beneficial to all of their citizens.
