After completing the Master Plan for YMCA Camp Greenville in 2012, Domokur Architects was excited to have been selected to undertake a series of new architectural projects as part of the master plan development and implementation plan.
One of these projects was to design an elevated Treehouse-type structure as part of this implementation. Planned as one of the program buildings, this project involves a series of partially covered elevated walkways with gathering areas leading to a program area covered by a fabric tensile structure. The proposed structure will primarily be framed with steel columns, wood floor structure, and wood timber frames.
